Third Culture Kids (TCKs) is the term used for people who spent their formative years in a country (or countries) that neither of their parents grew up in themselves.
While this is not necessarily a damaging experience, it makes it difficult for individuals to make peace with their personal identity. TCKs don’t feel like they fit in any one of the multiple cultures they have interacted with, but research indicated that if they were given the right kind of representation, we can provide a stronger sense of “self”, especially for young adult TCKs.
This was a group project, and includes a number of commissioned pieces from artists and writers.
All of the Above is a brand identity which offers an identity to a target group that are used to being outsiders or "other". AOTA is a proud, joyful and eclectic brand identity intended to celebrate individual TCK's uniqueness as well as their shared experiences.
